I did these drawings in 1997.
I was the publisher for the Apistogramma Study Group at the time (1995-1998).
I was eating at a restaurant and some ideas came to me that I jotted down on napkins that I
thought would be crazy enough to put in the newsletter from time to time.
These were all rough etchings and that is as far as I ever got with them.
Yes, this is a fish club, hence the fish drawings. These drawings are the results of those ideas.

Mother's Day, isn't it supposed to be for women? Fell asleep drawing....shhhh.... A summer day for fish?
Now, I understand that Mother's Day is supposed to be for ALL women but what about the Seahorse? The male is the one that 'delivers' the kids! This poor lad fell asleep while drawing....shhhhh....let's not wake him. Well, these chaps seem to be having fun 'air skiing' during summer vacation!
Uh-oh! I don't think he was invited! Awwwwwww!
Uh-oh, I don't think he was invited over for dinner! Awwwwwww! Will you be my Valentine?
